Saylani Operations Management System
Saylani needed an internal system to keep day-to-day operations visible and organized. I helped build a React and Node platform so teams could track work through one shared dashboard instead of scattered sheets.
Challenge
Operations data lived in too many places. Staff needed a single system that was simple enough for daily use and structured enough to grow.
Solution
I worked on a React + MUI interface backed by Node.js and MongoDB, focusing on clear records, filters, and flows that match how the teams already work.
Process
01 Discovery
Reviewed internal processes and listed the records and statuses the operations team actually updates.
02 Data model
Shaped MongoDB collections and API routes around those real workflows instead of a generic CRUD template.
03 Interface
Built MUI screens for listing, filtering, and updating records so staff can move quickly.
04 Iteration
Adjusted fields and views after internal feedback so the system matched daily operations.
